Job Description

Luma Melbourne is seeking a talented Mid to Senior Matchmove Artist to join their team. The role is available remotely or as a hybrid position within Australia. Responsibilities include accurately tracking rigid and deforming objects (cars, people, cloth, etc.) in plates, maintaining accurate 3D volume, and working with deforming rigs within Maya's animation toolset. Experience with camera tracking packages (Syntheyes, PFTrack) is essential. The ideal candidate is a team player, detail-oriented, and possesses a positive attitude. A minimum of three years of VFX production experience is preferred.

Must have:

Accurate tracking of rigid and deforming objects
Proficiency in Maya's animation toolset
Experience with camera tracking packages (Syntheyes, PFTrack)
Minimum 3 years VFX experience

Luma Melbourne is looking for talented Mid to Senior Matchmove Artist to join the team. Please note that candidates should be located within Australia for consideration only. (Remote location positions within Australia are available).

You can:

Accurately track both rigid and deforming objects in plates, such as cars, people, cloth, etc. while doing so and maintaining an accurate 3D volume.

You have:

A thorough understanding and experience using deforming rigs. Robust understanding of Maya's animation toolset as it pertains to matchmoving. Experience in one or more camera tracking packages (Syntheyes, PFTrack etc).
The ideal candidate will be a team player, detailed oriented and possess a positive can-do attitude.
Minimum Three years of vfx production experience is preferred.
