Job Description

The ME Coordinator will be responsible for cascading operational objectives to the Project Management team, coordinating between Project Management and Preplanning divisions, and ensuring effective communication with Customer Business Units. Key duties include aligning design changes with production concepts, managing resource mobilization, and directing project plans to meet schedules and objectives. The role involves understanding customer requirements, implementing engineering changes, reporting project status, and leading planning meetings. Additionally, the coordinator will validate investment calculations, control costs, and ensure compliance with quality, environmental, health, and safety standards.

Your Role

  • Cascade the objectives defined at Operational and Functional level to the "Project Management" team and define a work plan to accomplish them.
  • Coordinate between the “Project Management” & “Preplanning” division.
  • Ensure good communication and collaboration with the Service Centers of the various "Customer Business Units".
  • Ensure a good connection between design changes during the project development phases and the definition of the production concept in order to guarantee consistency between the change of product and the production process.
  • Update the resource mobilization strategy within the "Project Management" division.
  • Coordinate and direct the plans of the project in development in accordance with the stages of the project and launch a strategy for the implementation.
  • Ensure compliance with established schedules and achievement of objectives while identifying risks and defining circumvention scenarios.
  • Ensure a good understanding of customer requirements and their interpretation on the product and the process.
  • Ensure better implementation of engineering changes with the various departments involved.
  • Report on the status of the project in terms of planning (Timing, Backward Planning, Investment, Readiness, risks, plans, etc.).
  • Supervise and lead Project Planning meetings with the teams. Share all the results on Project Planning activities by organizing meetings / meetings with the organization concerned and by publishing the results achieved.
  • Ensure the diffusion of IRs according to Spending Control.
  • Work in close collaboration with production and Quality to ensure an optimal and efficient result service.
  • Validate the calculation of investments relating to engineering changes and MYCs and increase in volume of the entire project.
  • Validate the calculation of the costs to be communicated at the factory level as well as those externally.
  • Ensure the demand and the timely control of investments as well as the launch of equipment orders through the Process department.
  • Maintain work with Engineering Systems: GSD and SAP; ‘Key dates’, ‘Project timing’ and ‘FPP’ (Project Planning Sheet) and ECCL's (Engineering Change Coordination Letter).
  • Ensure an effective presence during Technical Conferences with service centers & Technical Meetings with customers.
  • Establish and Supervise the revision schedule for Bill Of Material & Bill Of Design while respecting the defined annual objective and the project timing.
  • Ensure the application of Procedures and Instructions (Global, European and local) relating to the Engineering department by referring to EOS.
  • Participate in the drafting of directives, procedures and protocols relating to the Industrial Engineering department.
  • Contribute to the strategic analyzes of the Engineering department, as well as that of the company: evaluation and updating of the business plan, identification of risks and opportunities, proposals for new strategies.
  • Facilitate and ensure the smooth running of the various audits (internal, certification, client, etc.).
  • Ensure the updating of the training schedule for IS and IH according to the Competency Training matrix and make systematic assessments of the skills of his team (frequency to be defined each year by ME Manager) in order to fill the gaps detected and maintain the required level of performance.
  • Share all lessons learned or Best practices deemed useful with the Engineering departments of other Morocco plants.
  • Develop / Monitor performance indicators and keep them up to date.
  • Maintain a cordial and positive attitude and approach in order to achieve the objectives set.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, health and safety standards

Your Background

  • Bac+5 in Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
  • Very good level of English/French.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Leadership, ability to analyze and synthesize
