Cost Calculator Jr

As a Cost Calculator Jr. at Aptiv, you will play a crucial role in supporting the costing and quotation process for new business and engineering changes. Your responsibilities include calculating F3X Cost and Cash Flow, ensuring timely pricing approvals, generating productive hours, and performing costing runs in the system. You will also support the preparation of business cases for new investments, contributing to the profitability of our products and shaping the future of mobility.

Must Have

• Calculate F3X Cost for new businesses and engineer changes
• Calculate and review F3X Cash Flow
• Follow-up pricing approvals
• Generate productive hours at month end
• Check BOMs for roll-up
• Perform costing runs in the system
• Support preparation of business cases for new investments
• Fluent English language
• Industrial engineering degree or similar with 3+ years' experience in costing
• Demonstrated ability in advanced Excel
• Knowledge in financial KPIs such as IO, cashflows, contribution margins, etc.
• Attention to detail and critical thinking
• Communication skills and teamwork

As a Cost Calculator Jr. on our team, you’ll support the costing and quotation process for new business and engineer changes in a timely manner ensuring the profitability of our products.

In your daily job you will:

• Calculate F3X Cost for new businesses and engineer changes
• Calculate and review F3X Cash Flow
• Follow-up pricing approvals
• Generate productive hours at month end
• Check BOMs for roll-up
• Perform costing runs in the system
• Support preparation of business cases for new investments

YOUR BACKGROUND

Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:

• Fluent English language is a must
• Industrial engineering degree or similar with 3+ years' experience in costing
• Demonstrated ability in advanced Excel
• Knowledge in financial KPIs such as IO, cashflows, contribution margins, etc.
• Attention to detail and critical thinking
• Communication skills and teamwork
• Automotive work experience (desired)
