Aptiv is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join a global, diverse, and collaborative team focused on advanced safety, electrification, and data connectivity solutions for the future of mobility. In this role, you will be crucial in managing engineering changes, ensuring project performance, and overseeing various accountabilities. Key responsibilities include implementing engineering changes, ensuring continuous improvement, applying changes according to schedules, managing auxiliaries, connecting with system managers (EOS, SAP, GSD-M, PFMEA’S), revising PFMEA's, and ensuring smooth customer audits.
Must have:
  • Ensure the implementation of engineering changes in coordination with the service center.
  • Ensure the right connection between engineering changes and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure the application and monitoring of changes according to the schedule and standard procedures for project development.
  • Ensure good management of auxiliaries.
  • Ensure a good connection with engineering / EOS / SAP / GSD-M / PFMEA’S system managers.
  • Ensuring the revision of PFMEA's for engineering changes and application of the required actions.
  • Ensure the smooth running of customer audits.
  • Engineering degree or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
  • Freshly graduated or with one year experience in the automotive industry or similar position.
  • Advanced English is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing process.
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills.
  • Problem solving techniques.

Your Role:

As a Manufacturing Engineer you will be part of a global, diverse and collaborative team and contributing on high sophisticated compute and sensing products driving to a safer, greener and more connected future of mobility.

In this role you will play a key role in Aptiv . You will ensure project management fairly with engineering changes also with the annual change model, while guaranteeing project performance as well as these various accountabilities:

  • Ensure the implementation of engineering changes in coordination with the service center.
  • Ensure the right connection between engineering changes and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure the application and monitoring of changes according to the schedule and standard procedures for project development.
  • Ensure good management of auxiliaries.
  • Ensure a good connection with engineering / EOS / SAP / GSD-M / PFMEA’S system managers.
  • Ensuring the revision of PFMEA's for engineering changes and application of the required actions.
  • Ensure the smooth running of customer audits.

Your Background:
