Who will you work with?
You will work in a global engineering team that develops cutting-edge technologies capable of providing more productivity and safety for railway operations around the world.
How will you make a difference?
As a member of the Digital Intelligence group/division, you will be responsible for creating and executing tests, as well as managing the testing process for your product, ensuring compliance with all quality requirements established by Wabtec.
What do we want to know about you?
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or information systems;
- Advanced knowledge in software development projects, working in a Quality Assurance team;
- Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes;
- Experience in preparing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases;
- Experience in Agile/Scrum development;
- Intermediate English (reading, writing and speaking);
- Experience working with distributed teams;
- Experience in the AzureDevOps environment;
- Experience in test automation;
- Desirable experience in railway projects.
What will your day-to-day be like?
- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback;
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases;
- Estimate and execute testing activities;
- Design, develop and execute test automation scripts;
- Track, identify, log and document bugs thoroughly;
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet customer needs;
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements;
- Track quality assurance metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts;
- Validate technical documentation with the client.
