Middle Manual QA Engineer (Lviv)

N-iX is seeking a Middle Manual QA Engineer for their Cardo Systems project. The role involves working in a Scrum Team, applying manual testing techniques, writing and executing test cases, performing root cause analysis, and defect tracking. The engineer will ensure high-quality software delivery for wireless communication systems for motorcyclists. This position requires at least 3 years of QA experience, including mobile, NoSQL, API, and performance testing, with a mandatory office presence in Lviv at least twice a week.

Must Have

• Report to QA Lead and work in a Scrum Team, following Agile Development principles.
• Use manual testing techniques to ensure all items are tested before release.
• Review business requirements to write test cases and test plans.
• Create and execute test cases.
• Perform root cause analysis.
• Review, prioritize, and adjust test cases.
• Analyze results, fix, and stabilize tests daily.
• Perform defect tracking.
• Visit Lviv office at least 2 times per week.
• 3+ years of enterprise software product quality assurance experience.
• Experience working with Mobile.
• Experience with NoSQL document-oriented database.
• Experience with API testing.
• Experience in performance (response, load, etc.) testing.
• Experience of working with version control systems.
• Strong understanding of SDLC.
• Upper-Intermediate English.
• Upper Intermediate+ level of Ukrainian.

• Experience in writing and automating test cases in DevOps Azure.
• Experience in hardware projects.
• Agile mindset and good team player.
• Knowledge of TFS.
• Basic Experience with MS SharePoint.

Since launching the Scala Rider® Bluetooth product line in 2004, Cardo has pioneered a new product category that didn’t exist before. The Scala Rider line currently includes the most advanced devices in the market, ranging from basic entry-level models to highly feature-rich communication and entertainment systems. Scala Rider products are available at motorcycle accessory stores in over 80 countries.

Main Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the QA Lead and working in a Scrum Team, following Agile Development principles to deliver high-quality work;

• Create and execute test cases;
• Root cause analysis;
• Test cases review, prioritization, and adjustments;

• Visit at least 2 per week Lviv office. (is a must)

Role Requirements:

• 3+ years of enterprise software product quality assurance experience;
• Experience working with Mobile;
• Experience with NoSQL document-oriented database;
• Experience with API testing;

• Experience of working with version control systems;
• Strong understanding of SDLC;
