Middle/Senior DevOps Engineer (Part-Time)

N-iX is seeking a Middle/Senior DevOps Engineer with strong Azure experience for a part-time role (50%). The candidate will design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions. Responsibilities include building and managing CI/CD pipelines, monitoring performance, implementing security best practices, collaborating with development teams, and supporting cloud cost optimization.

Must Have

• Design, implement, and maintain Azure-based infrastructure and services
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for multiple applications
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance and reliability
• Implement security best practices and compliance standards
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to support deployment processes
• Support cloud cost optimization and resource management
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure services (VMs, App Services, Functions, Storage, Networking)
• Expertise in CI/CD tools and processes (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
• Solid understanding of infrastructure-as-code (ARM, Terraform, or Bicep)
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)
• Good communication skills in English
• Ability to travel to Norway occasionally

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics)
• Knowledge of security and compliance in cloud environments
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
