Wizcorp is seeking an Effects Artist (VFX) to work on next-generation console projects. You will be involved in all aspects of effect design and production in game development.
Specific duties include:
- Devising and producing effects in line with game design in collaboration with planners and programmers.
- Effect production (simulation, texturing, modeling, setup, etc.).
- Technical support for effect production.

Compensation and Benefits
📍 Work Location and Hours 📍
⏲ Flexible Time System
Everyone has their own way of using creative time, and you know best what works for you.
You will work 8 hours a day (excluding a 1-hour break) from Monday to Friday, with a core time from 11:00 to 16:00. The distribution of hours outside of core time is up to you.
🌎 Flexible Work Location
Wizcorp implements full remote work, and most employees work from home. Of course, you can also work at the office if needed, using meeting rooms and hot desks.

💴 Salary 💴
The salary range for a Senior Character Artist is as follows:
Annual 4.8 to 9.6 million JPY (Monthly 400,000 to 800,000 JPY)
The starting salary will be determined based on the applicant's experience and evaluation during interviews.
There will be no special impact or change to the salary during the six-month probationary period.
💹 Salary Increase and Bonus 💹
- There is an annual performance review, and salaries are reviewed based on experience and contribution to projects.
- Salary increases are made around October-November each year, based on the budget and financial forecasts for the next fiscal year.
- No bonuses are paid.
