Technical specialist

BOLD is seeking a Technical Specialist to lead innovators in creating next-level solutions. This role involves deep knowledge of design, analytics, development, coding, testing, and application programming to improve business operations. The Product Delivery Group at BOLD collaborates with product management, UX, and analytics to create customer-centric solutions for job seekers, focusing on highly optimized web applications using modern technologies like React JS, Next JS, Node JS, .Net, and PHP.

Must Have

• Design web-scale products following best coding principles.
• Write code for web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Code REST APIs and integrate with cloud platforms/third-party APIs.
• Develop new user-facing features and build reusable code.
• Ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Proactively identify problems and improve applications (usability, performance, security).
• Document development process, architecture, and components.
• Deploy applications on Azure/AWS or similar platforms.
• Coordinate with product team for requirements.
• Coordinate all stages of product development.
• Provide architecture guidance (solution architecture, performance, scaling, security).
• Lead technical design, choose frameworks, apply design patterns.
• Strong experience building modern web applications using React.js/Next.js.
• Solid understanding of full-stack development, frontend architecture, UI development.
• Strong Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and development skills.
• Experience building backend services using Node.js.
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG) using Next.js.
• Experience in consuming and building RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with frontend performance optimization, responsive design, cross-browser compatibility.

Good to Have

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and cloud-based application deployment.
• Exposure to Generative AI tools and workflows.
• Experience using GitHub for version control and GitHub Actions / pipelines for CI/CD.
• Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Demonstrates strong ownership and accountability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Highly responsible, self-driven, and technically strong.

The Product Delivery Group at BOLD works closely with stakeholders across the Customer Experience Team. We collaborate with product management, UX, analytics and other project stakeholders to create successful and effective customer-centric solutions for job seekers.

In India, the Product Delivery Group is amalgamation of latest technology, niche processes and tech-savvy people. Our team uses a mixture of diversified technologies and cutting edge expertise to create a wide range of products which provide great customer experience. As part of Product Delivery Group you will be working on any of our brands like MyPerfectResume.com, Resume-Now.com, LiveCareer.com which provide users with access to tools and resources to help them create and customize resumes, cover letters, and job applications. The team is responsible for delivering highly optimized and highly performant web applications using some of the latest technologies like React JS, Next JS, Node JS, .Net, PHP etc.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Design web-scale products following best coding principles, optimized coding practices and using open source tools & platforms.
• Routine day involves writing code for web applications using modern javascript frameworks, coding rest APIs, integrating apps with cloud platforms like Azure or third-party APIs.
• Actively participate in product review meetings and contribute to ideas for improvement.
• Develop new user-facing features.
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Proactively identify potential problems and opportunities to improve applications and processes, with emphasis on usability, performance, and security
• Document the development process, architecture, and standard components
• Deployment of applications on Azure/AWS or similar platforms.
• Coordinate with the product team to create applications as per the requirements.
• Coordinate all stages of product development, from initial concept art, to finalization and distribution.
• Provide architecture guidance with a strong focus on solution architecture, architecture artifacts, performance, scaling and security to produce scalable, flexible, robust and efficient applications
• Lead the technical design solution, conversation, choose the right frameworks for the business solution, and apply design patterns consistently.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• Strong experience building modern web applications using React.js/Next.js
• Solid understanding of full-stack development, with primary focus on frontend architecture and UI development
• Strong Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and development skills
• Experience building backend services using Node.js (Express, NestJS, or similar frameworks)
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG) using Next.js
• Experience in consuming and building RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with frontend performance optimization, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility.

GOOD TO HAVE:
