Software Engineer, PHP

BOLD is seeking a Software Engineer with PHP expertise to own the technical execution of cutting-edge web products. This role involves championing best practices like agile and versioning, working closely with the development team to plan, coordinate, and deliver according to a high-level product roadmap, and tracking development activities to closure. The Product Delivery Group in India focuses on creating successful, customer-centric solutions for job seekers using diverse technologies like React JS, Next JS, Node JS, .Net, and PHP for brands such as MyPerfectResume.com, Resume-Now.com, and LiveCareer.com, delivering highly optimized and performant web applications.

Must Have

• Conduct analysis of website and application requirements.
• Write back-end code and build efficient PHP and JavaScript modules.
• Develop back-end portals with an optimized database.
• Troubleshoot application and code issues.
• Integrate data storage solutions.
• Respond to integration requests from front-end developers.
• Finalize back-end features and test web applications.
• Update and alter application features to enhance performance.
• Possess strong skills on the LAMP/WAMP stack, comfortable managing MySQL databases, and an in-depth knowledge of PHP with OOPS.
• Possess a solid understanding of JavaScript Frameworks, jQuery, performance optimization, and a grasp of REST API for custom development.
• Familiarity with SQL Databases and their declarative query language.
• Experience of using Source Control (Mercurial/SVN/Git).

Good to Have

• Wordpress plugin and theme development, or equivalent experience in another CMS.
• Basic front-end skills such as HTML and CSS.
• Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook etc).
• Exceptional analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiar with SEO, SEM methodologies.
• Should be a team player.

As part of Product Delivery Group you will be working on any of our brands like MyPerfectResume.com, Resume-Now.com, LiveCareer.com which provide users with access to tools and resources to help them create and customize resumes, cover letters, and job applications. The team is responsible for delivering highly optimized and highly performant web applications using some of the latest technologies like React JS, Next JS, Node JS, .Net, PHP etc.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
