Job Summary
As a Senior Staff DevSecOps Engineer at Infineon in Iasi, you will lead the secure software development transformation, managing AppSecOps/DevSecOps and configuration management tools. This role involves implementing advanced security strategies, collaborating with diverse teams, and building a robust software supply chain. You will integrate cutting-edge security practices, ensure compliance, track key performance indicators, and create resources to support tool adoption. This position is for a collaborative problem-solver with strong communication and analytical skills, a deep understanding of modern security practices, and the ability to bridge technical solutions with business objectives.
Must Have
- Manage AppSecOps/DevSecOps and configuration tools.
- Implement secure Software Supply Chain strategies.
- Integrate AppSecOps/DevSecOps for security and compliance.
- Manage Configuration Management tools (tracking, compliance, user guides).
- Engage with stakeholders for strategy alignment.
- Track metrics and report KPIs on tool effectiveness.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in software security, AppSecOps/DevSecOps, and configuration management.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or C++.
- Experience with AppSecOps/DevSecOps tools (Coverity, CheckMarx, SonarQube, JFrog Xray).
- Knowledge of configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies and Enterprise Kubernetes (OpenShift).
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability.

Job Description
In this role, you will play a key part in driving secure software development by managing AppSecOps/DevSecOps and configuration management tools to align with organizational goals. You'll have the opportunity to integrate cutting-edge security practices, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, measure success through impactful KPIs, and create valuable resources to support tool adoption and innovation.
In your new role you will:
- Manage Application Portfolio to ensure AppSecOps/DevSecOps and configuration tools align with organizational goals
- Implement strategies to ensure a secure Software Supply Chain, including secure design, threat modeling, and coding practices
- Integrate AppSecOps/DevSecOps to embed security and ensure compliance
- Manage Configuration Management tools to ensure accurate tracking and compliance, while creating and maintaining user guides, technical notes, and knowledge base articles to support tool usage
- Engage with stakeholders to align strategies and ensure effective communication across teams and leadership
- Track metrics and provide reporting by developing KPIs to measure tool effectiveness and delivering regular updates to stakeholders
Your Profile
You are a collaborative problem-solver with excellent communication and analytical skills, bringing a deep understanding of modern security practices and their integration into development lifecycles. Your strategic mindset and ability to work seamlessly across teams enable you to bridge the gap between technical solutions and business objectives effectively.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field
- At least 8 years of experience in software security, with a focus on AppSecOps/DevSecOps and configuration management
- Proficiency in programming languages, such as Java, Python, or C++ and experience with AppSecOps/DevSecOps tools, such as Coverity, CheckMarx, SonarQube, JFrog Xray
- Knowledge of configuration management tools, such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef and familiarity with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with containerization technologies, and Enterprise Kubernetes like OpenShift
- Experience with Agile methodologies and the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments while prioritizing multiple tasks
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills with a strong ability to solve problems effectively
