Job Summary

Infineon is seeking a Working Student in Finance for its Munich location. This hybrid role involves supporting monthly closings, financial forecasting, and internal/external reporting. Responsibilities include cost analysis, data plausibilization, system reconciliation, and error analysis using tools like S&OP, OneStream, and Tableau. The ideal candidate is a currently enrolled student in Business Administration or a related field, proficient in MS Office, with initial SAP experience, and good German and English language skills.

Must Have

  • Support and independent work in monthly closings, including cost analyses and Excel evaluations.
  • Independently contribute to Financial Forecasts and perform plan/actual comparisons.
  • Assist with monthly internal and external reporting.
  • Work with databases (S&OP) and financial closing/consolidation tools (OneStream).
  • Plausibilize cost data, perform system imports/reconciliation, and error analysis.
  • Support underutilization allocation and Target Cost Roadmap (TCR) planning.
  • Independently assist with NSR-Reporting for transfer costs and PMI.
  • Utilize Tableau for reporting and data analysis.
  • Conduct and communicate BilMoG controls and IKS documentation.
  • Perform administrative and ad-hoc tasks to support the team.
  • Support system maintenance and optimization of existing work files.
  • Expand process documentation and the internal Knowledge Base.
  • Currently studying Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, TUM-BWL, or similar.
  • Possess a quality-conscious and team-oriented working style.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Have initial experience with SAP.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to learn.
  • Good German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
  • Submit a resume, enrollment certificate, current transcript (not older than 6 months), and school leaving certificate.
  • Available for a maximum of 20 hours per week during lecture periods.
  • Must be a duly enrolled student, not having completed all examinations or modules.
  • Available for at least 6 months and not on a leave of absence semester.
  • Reside close to the employment location for regular on-site presence.

Your Role

Main activities in your new role:

  • Keep track: Support and independent work within monthly closings, for example, cost analyses, Excel evaluations, and visual preparation. This includes:
  • Independent work on the creation of Financial Forecasts, independent execution of plan/actual comparisons
  • Support for monthly internal and external reporting with independently managed sub-areas
  • Work with databases (S&OP) and financial closing and consolidation tools (OneStream)
  • Plausibilization of cost data, system imports and reconciliation, and error analysis
  • Data is everything: Support for the underutilization allocation of production sites to internal divisions and for Target Cost Roadmap (TCR) planning. This also includes:
  • Independent support for the creation of NSR-Reporting for transfer costs, PMI, and other topics
  • Use of Tableau for reporting and data analysis
  • Execution & communication of BilMoG controls and documentation regarding internal control mechanisms (IKS)
  • Teamwork is dreamwork: Administrative and technical ad-hoc tasks to support the team. This includes:
  • Support for system maintenance and optimization of existing work files
  • Expansion of process documentation and the internal Knowledge Base

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills that will help you succeed:

  • Field of Study: You are currently studying Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, TUM-BWL, or similar
  • Working Style: You bring a quality-conscious and team-oriented way of working
  • Skills: You are proficient in using MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, and have already gained initial experience with SAP
  • Personality: You are characterized by your flexibility and willingness to learn
  • Language Skills: You have good German and English language skills, both written and spoken

Important information:

  • Part-time work: The focus is on your studies. Therefore, the working student activity is possible for a maximum of 20 hours per week during lecture periods.
  • Duly enrolled students are very welcome: To work as a working student with us, you must be enrolled at a university and not yet have completed all examinations or modules of your studies. We look forward to welcoming you to our team for at least 6 months. Please note that you must not be on a leave of absence semester.
  • You should live close to the place of employment: For good cooperation, it is important to us that you can regularly come to the location to integrate into the team.
