Job Summary
This role involves supporting the operation, development, and optimization of backend systems for Operational Technology (OT) endpoint protection solutions. The engineer will assist in deploying, configuring, and maintaining OT security platforms, contributing to securing OT systems and devices. Collaboration with OT teams, IT departments, and external vendors is key. The ideal candidate will have a degree in computer science or a related field, around 1 year of experience in IT/cybersecurity, and familiarity with Linux and Windows system administration.
Must Have
- Support operation, development, and optimization of backend systems for OT endpoint protection
- Assist in deploying, configuring, and maintaining OT security platforms
- Contribute to securing OT systems and devices
- Participate in testing and validating OT endpoint protection updates
- Collaborate with OT teams, IT departments, and external vendors
- Provide input and learn from technical consulting activities for OT cybersecurity projects
- Help maintain documentation of configurations, workflows, and procedures
- Degree in computer science, information technology, or cybersecurity
- Around 1 year of professional experience in IT or cybersecurity operations
- Basic understanding of OT endpoint protection solutions
- Basic understanding of industrial control systems
- Familiarity with Linux system administration fundamentals
- Familiarity with Windows system administration fundamentals
- Fluent English, both written and spoken

- Exposure to OT environments
- Interest in OT security tools and asset discovery solutions
- Relevant certifications (e.g., GICSP, ISA/IEC 62443)
- Awareness of manufacturing and OT-specific challenges

Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Support the operation, development, and optimization of backend systems for Operational Technology (OT) endpoint protection solutions
- Assist in deploying, configuring, and maintaining OT security platforms to ensure reliability and scalability in manufacturing and OT environments
- Contribute to securing OT systems and devices by maintaining secure configurations and monitoring asset protection
- Participate in testing and validating OT endpoint protection updates in staged rollouts to minimize disruptions
- Collaborate with OT teams, IT departments, and external vendors to integrate OT security solutions within the enterprise security framework
- Provide input and learn from technical consulting activities for OT cybersecurity projects, as well as identify and suggest improvements for OT security backend processes and tools
- Help maintain documentation of configurations, workflows, and procedures, and actively engage in team knowledge sharing
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
- A degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field
- Around 1 year of professional experience in IT or cybersecurity operations (exposure to OT environments is a plus)
- Basic understanding of OT endpoint protection solutions and industrial control systems; willingness to learn and grow in this area, as well as interest in OT security tools and asset discovery solutions
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows system administration fundamentals
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with eagerness to develop technical expertise
- Awareness of manufacturing and OT-specific challenges (e.g., reliability and productivity requirements) and their impact on cybersecurity; relevant certifications (e.g., GICSP, ISA/IEC 62443) are a plus
- Fluent English, both written and spoken
