Job Summary
As a working student for video documentation in Maintenance at our Dresden semiconductor factory, you will collaborate closely with maintenance colleagues in the cleanroom. Your primary role will be to document maintenance procedures through video, ensuring knowledge preservation and efficient transfer to new team members. This position is crucial for enhancing efficiency and contributing to a safer, simpler, and more environmentally friendly future. We are looking for someone enthusiastic about technical processes and video creation.
Must Have
- Film maintenance procedures in the cleanroom according to guidelines
- Edit and cut videos for clarity and appealing format
- Integrate video clips into existing maintenance software
- Conduct user-friendliness tests for good user experience
- Maintain intensive exchange and constructive collaboration with local knowledge holders
- Currently studying Media Sciences, Communication Sciences, or a technical field
- High understanding and enthusiasm for technical questions and coordination processes
- Experience in video creation, especially documentation and knowledge management
- Good knowledge of video production including camera work, lighting, sound, and editing
- Experience with video editing software
- Very good German and good English language skills (written and spoken)
- Enrolled student, able to work at least 6 months, not in a sabbatical semester
- Ability to commute regularly to the Dresden site

- Experience with Camtasia video editing software

Job Description
As a working student for video documentation in Maintenance, you will work closely with maintenance colleagues in the cleanroom. You will contribute to preserving knowledge and improving its transfer to new colleagues.
- Behind the Camera: You will film maintenance procedures in the cleanroom, observing specific guidelines.
- Material Preparation: You will process and edit the videos so that they can be easily understood and reused in an appealing format.
- Digitalization: You will integrate the video clips into the existing maintenance software.
- Results Control: You will conduct user-friendliness tests to ensure a good user experience.
- Teamwork is dreamwork: You will maintain intensive exchange and constructive collaboration with local knowledge holders to successfully implement the project.
Your Profile
- Course of Study: You are currently studying Media Sciences, Communication Sciences, or a degree program with a technical focus.
- Interest: You have a high understanding and enthusiasm for technical questions and coordination processes, experience in creating videos, especially in the area of documentation and knowledge management.
- Skills: You have good knowledge of video production including camera work, lighting, sound, and editing, and the ability to convey complex information in an appealing and understandable form.
- Experience: You already have experience with video editing software (ideally Camtasia).
- Personality: You want to bring your creativity to our team and familiarize yourself with new topics and technologies.
- Working Style: You are characterized by your independent and reliable working style to meet deadlines.
- Language Skills: You have very good German and good English language skills, both written and spoken.

Important Information:
- Part-time work: The focus is on your studies. Therefore, working student activities are possible for a maximum of 20 hours per week during the lecture period.
- Regular students are very welcome: You must be enrolled and the examination achievements or modules of your studies must not yet be completed, so that you can work in our team for at least 6 months. You must also not be on a sabbatical semester.
- You should live close to the place of employment: It is important for us to work with you on site and integrate you into the team. Therefore, you should have the opportunity to come to the location regularly.
