Job Summary
Avalanche, a Warner Bros. Games studio, is seeking a Video Capture Artist to create cinematic gameplay sequences for trailers, social media, and presentations. The role involves utilizing in-game assets to create dynamic scenes, collaborating with the Video Production Manager on live streams and editing, and communicating bugs. Candidates should have a strong understanding of composition, cinematography, lighting, and proficiency in Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and game engines like Unreal.
Must Have
- Capture cinematic gameplay sequences for trailers, social media, presentations.
- Utilize existing in-game assets to create dynamic scenes in-engine.
- Support Marketing Manager with ideating new, creative ways to connect with players.
- Collaborate with Video Production Manager, assisting with live streams, editing, on-site production shoots, and all other A/V needs.
- Communicate bugs found during capturing sessions.
- Play the games and know them inside and out.
- Strong understanding of composition, cinematography, and lighting.
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere and Photoshop.
- Game engine experience (Unreal).

Avalanche, a division of WB Games Inc., seeks a Video Capture Artist to join the team that created Hogwarts Legacy!
Key Responsibilities:
- Capture cinematic gameplay sequences for use in trailers, social media, presentations, etc.
- Utilize existing in-game assets to create dynamic scenes in-engine for screenshots and video capture
- Support Marketing Manger with ideating new, creative ways to connect with our players
- Collaborate with Video Production Manager, assisting with live streams, editing, on-site production shoots, and all other A/V needs
- Communicate bugs found during capturing sessions
- Play the games and know them inside and out
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of composition, cinematography, and lighting
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere and Photoshop
- Game engine experience (Unreal)
- Highly organized, able to prioritize multiple projects/requests at once
- An attention to detail, able to spot bugs or graphical errors
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
- A passion for video games
