Job Summary

Buzzmetrics is a pioneering company in applying market research methodologies to social media since 2013. They are seeking a proactive Social Media Researcher to join their dynamic team. This role involves transforming real-time social media conversations and behavioral data into sharp, strategic insights that drive brand growth. The researcher will analyze trends, audience behavior, and platform performance, partnering with cross-functional teams to shape research, identify opportunities, and deliver insights that enhance campaigns and strengthen brand impact.

Must Have

  • Analyze social media data for insights and trends
  • Identify patterns in online conversations and sentiment
  • Communicate research findings to clients
  • Perform quality checks on social media data
  • Export and structure data from social media listening platforms
  • Visualize data in reports and presentations
  • Coordinate project execution with internal and external teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Marketing, or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in market research or marketing field
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Google Spreadsheet, and Google Slides
  • Fluent in Vietnamese and good command of English (especially writing)

As a Social Media Researcher, you’ll turn real-time conversations and behavioral data into sharp, strategic insights that drive brand growth. You’ll analyze trends, audience behavior, and platform performance to uncover what matters most—helping clients lead, not follow. Partnering with cross-functional teams, you’ll shape research, spot opportunities, and deliver insights that elevate campaigns and strengthen brand impact.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Analysis and Insight Development (35%)

  • Analyze social media data to uncover key insights, trends, and brand or category movements.
  • Identify meaningful patterns in online conversations, sentiment shifts, and influencer impact.
  • Translate data into concise findings tailored to client objectives.

Client services (30%)

  • Communicate with clients to clarify research needs and ensure alignment on expectations.
  • Respond to client inquiries related to data, methodology, or insight interpretation.
  • Proactively provide suggestions and updates to enhance client experience.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve project-related concerns from clients. results.

Report and Data management (20%)

  • Perform quality checks (QC) on classified social media data to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Export and structure data from social media listening platforms.
  • Visualize data through charts, dashboards, and slide decks in alignment with project templates and client requirements.
  • Ensure consistency and clarity in report formatting and visuals.

Project Execution (15%)

  • Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., Data, Client Partnership) and external partners (e.g., media agencies, brand teams) to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Document and report any issues or delays, and take corrective actions when needed.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Education/ Knowledge

  • Bachelor degree in Economics, Marketing or related field.
