Finance Trainee

Thales is seeking a Finance Trainee to join its Finance Team in Argentina. This role is ideal for students in Accounting, Administration, or Finance, offering hands-on experience in a multinational environment. The trainee will support financial operations, reporting, and audit activities, working closely with finance professionals to ensure accurate financial processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Must Have

• Support the Local Finance Team with general financial tasks and reporting activities
• Act as an intermediate point between Finance and external/internal advisors
• Provide support during internal and external audits
• Assist with monthly OPEX analysis and cost tracking
• Prepare reports and presentations for internal stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy and compliance
• Student of Accounting, Administration, Finance, or related fields
• English proficiency (written and spoken)
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a corporate environment
• Argentinian citizenship or work permit

Good to Have

• Experience with ERP systems (SAP or similar)

• Provide support during internal and external audits.
• Assist with monthly OPEX analysis and cost tracking.
• Prepare reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.

Requirements

• Student of Accounting, Administration, Finance, or related fields
• English proficiency (written and spoken)
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a corporate environment.
• Argentinian citizenship or work permit.
• Hybrid role, office based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Technical Skills

• Advanced Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis)
• PowerPoint for reporting and presentations
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP or similar) is a plus
