Job Summary

RoofStacks is looking for a Monitoring and Operations Engineer with strong experience in banking processes to join their strategic project in the Banking/Fintech sector. The role involves operating monitoring and alert systems for bank infrastructure (network, system, applications), analyzing alarms, managing monitoring rules, performing first-level technical analysis during incidents, and supporting the deployment of new devices/services. The engineer will also be responsible for documentation, reporting, and ensuring compliance with banking regulations, working in a 7/24 shift system.

Must Have

  • At least 3 years of experience in network and/or application monitoring
  • Experience with monitoring and alarm systems like Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, PRTG, SolarWinds
  • Basic-intermediate technical knowledge of network, system, and application architectures
  • Experience in alarm management, incident tracking, and operational processes
  • Analytical skills to interpret log, metric, and performance data
  • Ability to adapt to working discipline in highly regulated institutions (bank, finance, etc.)
  • Meticulous in documentation and reporting
  • Ability to work in a 7/24 monitoring operation and shift system

Good to Have

  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and operational monitoring concepts
  • Experience in shift work

We are looking for a "Monitoring and Operations Engineer (Banking)" with strong experience, especially in banking processes, to take part in the strategic project we are carrying out in the Banking/Fintech field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the operation of monitoring and alert systems that ensure the monitoring of network, system, and applications in the bank infrastructure.
  • Analyze, prioritize, and coordinate alarms and warnings from monitoring systems with relevant teams.
  • Manage monitoring rules and threshold values for early detection of outages and performance problems in network, system, and application.
  • Perform first-level technical analysis during incident processes and inform relevant teams when necessary.
  • Support the definition and deployment of new devices, services, and applications on monitoring systems.
  • Prepare and keep up-to-date the documentation of monitoring and alarm processes.
  • Prepare periodic monitoring reports and operational status summaries.
  • Work in accordance with banking regulations and internal operational processes.
  • Adapt to 7/24 monitoring operations and shift work arrangements.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduated from Electronic, Computer, Software, or related engineering departments.
  • At least 3 years of experience in network and/or application monitoring.
  • Experienced in monitoring and alarm systems such as Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, PRTG, SolarWinds, etc.
  • Basic-intermediate level technical knowledge about network, system, and application architectures.
  • Experienced in alarm management, incident tracking, and operational processes.
  • Possess an analytical perspective to interpret log, metric, and performance data.
  • Able to adapt to the working discipline in highly regulated institutions (bank, finance, etc.).
  • Organized and meticulous in documentation and reporting.
  • Preferably familiar with ITIL processes and operational monitoring concepts.
  • Preferably experienced in shift work arrangements.
