The role involves managing physical and virtual server infrastructures, virtualization platforms, backup/restore, replication, and disaster recovery processes, as well as monitoring performance and ensuring compliance with banking regulations.

Must Have

  • At least 3 years of experience in server management.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux operating systems.
  • Experience with physical server, virtualization, and storage structures.
  • Knowledge of backup and replication solutions (Veeam).
  • Basic setup and operation knowledge of mail systems (Microsoft Exchange).
  • Proficiency in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP.
  • Knowledge of disaster recovery and business continuity.
  • Ability to work in highly regulated institutions (banking, finance).
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Meticulous about documentation and reporting.

Good to Have

  • VMware, Microsoft, Veeam certifications.

We are looking for a "System Administrator" with strong experience, especially in banking processes, to take part in the strategic project we are carrying out in the Banking/Fintech field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the setup, configuration, and operation processes of physical and virtual server infrastructures (Windows/Linux) within the bank.
  • Providing management and daily operational support for virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).
  • Managing backup, restore, replication, and disaster recovery (DR) processes in server environments.
  • Monitoring server performance, capacity planning, and contributing to improvement efforts.
  • Supporting setup, configuration, and operation processes related to mail systems (Microsoft Exchange, etc.).
  • Intervening in server failures, performing root cause analysis (RCA), and reporting.
  • Planning and executing system updates, patches, and version upgrade operations.
  • Working in compliance with banking regulations (BDDK, KVKK, etc.) and internal information security policies.
  • Coordinating with relevant teams on system security and access controls.
  • Preparing and maintaining documentation for all work performed.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduated from Electronics, Computer, Software, or related engineering departments.
  • At least 3 years of experience in server management.
  • Knowledge and experience in Windows Server and/or Linux operating systems.
  • Experience with physical server, virtualization, and storage structures.
  • Knowledge of backup and replication solutions (Veeam, etc.).
  • Basic setup and operation knowledge of mail systems (especially Microsoft Exchange).
  • Proficient in basic infrastructure services like Active Directory, DNS, DHCP.
  • Knowledge of disaster recovery and business continuity approaches.
  • Ability to adapt to the work discipline in highly regulated institutions (banks, finance, etc.).
  • Analytical thinking ability, high problem-solving skills.
  • Meticulous about documentation and reporting.
  • Team player, strong communication skills.
  • Preferably certified in products like VMware, Microsoft, Veeam.
