Asset Protection Associate (Part-Time)

The Asset Protection Associate at GOAT Group ensures a safe workplace and maintains high integrity. This role involves fostering relationships, enforcing security protocols, monitoring surveillance, and assisting with access control and inventory movement. The associate will also document activities, support management, and handle various duties related to asset protection and workplace services.

Must Have

• Foster healthy relationships with staff, vendors, and guests.
• Maintain professional appearance per GOAT Group uniform standards.
• Review, monitor, and enforce POST Orders.
• Enforce IIPP, Emergency Evacuation, and Fire Prevention Programs.
• Assist with access control, visitor program, and access card audits.
• Examine and record logistics carrier info for CTPAT compliance.
• Complete opening/closing checklists and communicate findings.
• Support local management with events.
• Control employee, visitor, and vehicle entrance/departure.
• Conduct thorough package inspections for exiting employees.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and document suspicious activities.
• Review CCTV footage for after-hours procedures.
• Assist in evicting trespassers and detaining perpetrators.
• Make smart decisions consistent with policies.
• One or more years of Distribution Center or Retail store experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to coach and train team members.
• Ability to handle sensitive information confidently.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Ability to complete responsibilities under minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in warehouse/retail environment (dust, temperatures, sitting/standing/walking).

In this role, you will:

• Foster healthy relationships with staff, vendors, and guests, while demonstrating a superior customer service attitude
• Maintain a professional and presentable appearance at all times that is in compliance with GOAT Group’s uniform standards
• Assist in reviewing POST Orders for your assigned facility
• Ensure that all aspects of POST Orders are in place, monitored, and enforced
• Assist in enforcing the facility-level IIPP Program, Emergency Evacuation Procedures, and the Fire Prevention Program
• Assist with access control compliance, the visitor program, and access card audits
• Thoroughly examine and record logistics carrier information in accordance with CTPAT compliance standards where applicable
• Complete opening/closing checklists and communicate findings
• Support the local management team with any planned and/or special events
• Control entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and vehicles according to GOAT Group Policy
• Conduct thorough package inspections, including jackets/coats anytime employees are exiting the facility (warehouse/retail store)
• Monitor all surveillance cameras
• Document unlawful/suspicious activities
• Review CCTV footage to document after-hours building opening/closing procedures
• Assist in the process of evicting trespassers and violators and detain perpetrators while following legal protocols before relevant authorities arrive at the scene
• Be trusted to make smart decisions, consistent with applicable guidance and policies, requiring good judgment both proactively and reactively
• Any other duties as assigned by Asset Protection, Workplace Services, and/or Operations

We are looking for:

• A motivated and team-oriented individual with one or more years of Distribution Center and/or Retail store experience. This includes the following:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Security Guard and/or Asset Protection experience preferred
• Audit and compliance experience preferred
• Ability to coach and train team members
• Ability to confidently handle personal and/or sensitive information
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the evolving needs of the business to include nights, weekends and holidays
• Ability to complete expected responsibilities under minimal supervision
• Planned/unplanned overtime may be required
• CCTV, NVR, Google Suite, Excel, Powerpoint, and IOS experience is a plus for this position, but not required
• Ability to work in a typical warehouse or retail environment. This could include dust, fluctuating temperatures, and extended time frames of sitting, standing, and/or walking
