Job Summary
BetterMe, a health tech company founded in 2017, is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join their team in Kyiv. The role involves providing L1 user support, managing incidents and requests, and performing administrative tasks such as user creation/deactivation and access management in corporate systems. The ideal candidate will have 1+ year of experience in technical support and a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, with a focus on ensuring smooth operation of corporate services and equipment.
Must Have
- 1+ year of experience in technical support or good understanding of IT infrastructure
- Knowledge of corporate systems and services: Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, GitHub
- Ability to work with corporate VPN (Pritunl) and basic network settings
- Understanding of Windows and macOS operating principles at the user support level
- Ability to quickly find solutions, communicate with users, and be service-oriented
- Ready to learn and develop into an L2 engineer role
Good to Have
- Experience with service-desk systems (Jira, Freshdesk, etc.)
- Understanding of ISO/IEC 27001 processes or participation in similar projects
- Experience interacting with a large number of users (300+)

About you:
- Have 1+ year of experience in technical support or a good understanding of IT infrastructure.
- Know the principles of corporate systems and services: Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, GitHub.
- Able to work with corporate VPN (Pritunl) and basic network settings.

Will be a plus:

Key responsibilities:
- User support (L1):
- Receiving, analyzing, and processing requests via service-desk.
- Providing prompt assistance to employees regarding:
- access to services (Google Workspace / Okta / Slack / GitHub and others),
- corporate VPN operation (Pritunl),
- corporate equipment and workstations (Windows/Mac),
- basic network issues,
- corporate security policies.
- Incidents and requests:
- Classification and escalation of complex requests to the 2nd line.
- Maintaining clear communication with users until task completion.
- Participation in backlog reduction and improvement of support processes.
- Administration and routine tasks:
- Creation/deactivation of users in corporate systems.
- Issuing access according to roles and internal policies.
- Updating instructions and knowledge base.
- Control over the execution of standard procedures (onboarding/offboarding).
