Product Owner (Web)

BetterMe is seeking a Product Owner (Web) to join their health & wellness platform in Kyiv, Ukraine. The role involves driving Scrum teams, translating business objectives into technical requirements, and managing the full feature lifecycle from concept to optimization. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of product ownership experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and expertise in agile methodologies and tools like JIRA and Confluence. This position requires close collaboration with business and technical teams to build robust product and technical documentation.

ABOUT YOU:

• 3+ years experience as a Product owner;
• Experience of managing product backlog, breaking down requirements, writing user stories, and validating customer needs;
• Experience of writing product and technical documentation;
• Experience of working with a cross-functional team.
• Strong negotiation, organizational, management, analytical, and people skills;
• Deep understanding of principles and processes of agile software development; Excellent knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Draw.io (or similar);
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to proactively propose solutions and create mockups to validate ideas before development.
• Ability to analyze data and user behavior to inform design decisions.
• English level: Upper-Intermediate.

YOUR IMPACT:

• Drive one or more Scrum teams, achieve iteration goals, participate in Scrum ceremonies;
• Collect, define and convert business/product objectives into the technical requirements, tasks in the backlog and distribute to development team;
• Create clear and concise requirements documentation (diagrams, UML, BPMN);
• Prepare a technical backlog with developers, participate in iteration planning, manage the issues lifecycle;
• Ownership across the lifecycle of a feature from concept through launch and managing the ongoing analysis and optimization phases.
