Job Description

Bounteous is seeking a Murex Functional Analyst with a focus on Front Office development. The role involves implementing Murex functionalities such as curve setup, simulation views, and P&L analysis. You will be responsible for developing key front office tools like E-Tradepad and Simulation Viewer, designing solutions from scratch, and managing stakeholders. The position requires end-to-end ownership of tasks, coordination with development and QA teams, and ensuring timely delivery of DataMart reporting solutions. Additionally, information security responsibilities include promoting security practices, assessing risks, and ensuring data protection throughout the information lifecycle.

Information Security Responsibilities

    • Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols
    • Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
    • Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
    • Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information

Role and Responsibilities

    • Front Office Development implementations, including curve setup, simulation views, P&L analysis, and related functionalities
    • Development efforts on key front office tools, such as E-Tradepad, Simulation Viewer, Strategy Builder, Livebook, and other associated applications
    • Design solutions from scratch and manage stakeholders across multiple teams and functions
    • Work closely with Front Office teams to design and implement pricing and booking capabilities in Murex
    • Take end-to-end ownership of tasks, coordinating with development and QA teams, and ensure timely delivery of DataMart reporting solutions

Preferred Qualifications

    • 5+ years of experience in Murex Front Office development and configuration
    • Skilled in Front Office business analysis, including trade pricing and pre-trade workflows
    • Strong knowledge of P&L analysis in Murex at both the deal and portfolio levels
    • Experienced in implementing Murex changes, such as rate curve configurations and market rate sheets
    • Expertise in Pre-trade and E-Tradepad configuration
    • Broad exposure to all asset classes
    • Solid understanding of the trade lifecycle across Front Office, Middle Office, and Back Office functions
    • Proficient in analyzing P&L and sensitivity issues within Murex
    • Strong analytical and logical approach to problem solving and system development
    • Ability to analyze product requirements and provide effective solutions and support for rollouts
    • Working knowledge of SQL and Unix basics
