About the role: Your responsibility as a database administrator (DBA) will be the performance, integrity and security of a database. You'll be involved in the planning and development of the database, as well as in troubleshooting any issues on behalf of the users.

Data remains consistent across the database, data is clearly defined
Users access data concurrently, in a form that suits their needs
There is provision for data security and recovery control (ensuring all data is retrievable in an emergency).
Skills that will help you succeed in this role
3-6 Years of core experience
Good Expertise in MySQL internals, configuration, and replication strategies and up-gradation/Migration
Manage databases in AWS cloud infrastructure
Handle master-slave data sync
Exposure to other Databases (MSSQL Server, Redshift, Snowflake, MongoDB) is a plus
Should have basic understanding of MySQL development
Expertise in upgrading and migrating databases to Cloud
Exceptional knowledge of both MySql and InnoDB/Clustering
Hands on experience on Performance Tuning and Query Optimization
Should have good understanding on Indexing, Partitions, and different storage engines available under MySQL
Hands on experience in setting up replication and different configuration parameters available in MySQL
Good exposure working with Linux/Unix environment
Capable of supporting and implementing technology projects as the primary DBA in support of business initiatives
