Job Description

Salesforce is seeking a Named Account Executive for Public Sector Healthcare in Alberta and the Prairies. This role involves working with various customers, developing strategic approaches for new prospects, and driving growth in the Canadian Healthcare market. The executive will build trusted relationships with key stakeholders and C-suite decision-makers, develop account strategies, coordinate internal resources, and manage renewals, all while selling the Salesforce Customer 360 platform.
Must Have:
  • Develop key customer stakeholder relationships and drive customer satisfaction at assigned accounts
  • Develop and drive the overall long-term strategy for the account, aligned to customer business objectives
  • Coordinate internal Salesforce resources to meet customer business needs
  • Perform account planning at assigned accounts, coordinating with Prime and Cloud sales resources to ensure strategic alignment
  • Share the Salesforce value proposition for existing and/or new customers
  • Drive growth within an existing assigned account
  • Manage renewals for existing customers
  • Work collaboratively with a matrixed, 360 team of sellers
  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience required
  • Experience in Healthcare, specifically in Public Health
  • 10 years of full cycle sales experience, at least 5 years in Enterprise Sales

As the Public Sector Healthcare AE for Alberta and the Prairies, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced team with various customers, develop a strategic approach to engage new prospects, and participate in the growth of the Healthcare market in Canada for Salesforce.

Vertical

This role will be specifically selling into new and existing accounts within Western Canada, focused specifically on the Public Health Industry which includes Provincial Health Authorities across Western Canada (Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Alberta).

Day to Day

Our Enterprise Account Executives engage with existing customers and new leads to sell the entire Salesforce Customer 360 platform. They build positive, trusted relationships with both key team members and c-suite decision makers within their patch, and become naturals at helping customers realize value from their Salesforce investments.

You will use your skills to develop opportunities, through both warm leads and whitespace prospecting.

· Develop key customer stakeholder relationships and drive customer satisfaction at assigned accounts

· Develop and drive the overall long-term strategy for the account, aligned to customer business objectives

· Coordinate internal Salesforce resources to meet customer business needs

· Perform account planning at assigned accounts, coordinating with Prime and Cloud sales resources to ensure strategic alignment

· Share the Salesforce value proposition for existing and/or new customers

· Drive growth within an existing assigned account

· Manage renewals for existing customers

· Work collaboratively with a matrixed, 360 team of sellers

Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the Values & Behaviors for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

· Location: Alberta, Manitoba or Saskatchewan

· Experience in Healthcare, specifically in Public Health

· 10 years of full cycle sales experience, at least 5 years in Enterprise Sales

· Ability to strategize with a large extended team

· Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role and the overall evaluation of skills relative to the requirements
