Job Description

As a Network Administrator specializing in Fortinet Network Security at Capgemini, your responsibilities will include configuring, deploying, and maintaining Fortinet firewalls, managing VPNs, monitoring network performance, and troubleshooting issues. You'll implement security measures, collaborate with the cybersecurity team, maintain documentation, and provide technical support. Must have:
  • Configure and maintain Fortinet firewalls (FortiGate).
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
  • Implement and manage VPNs and intrusion prevention systems.
  • Perform regular firmware upgrades and patch management.
  • Collaborate with the cybersecurity team on security policies.
Good to have:
  • Experience with other security platforms (e.g., Cisco).
  • Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure).
  • Scripting knowledge (Python, Bash) for automation.

Job Description

  • Configure, deploy, and maintain Fortinet firewalls (FortiGate), FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, and FortiAPs.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues related to connectivity, latency, and security.
  • Implement and manage VPNs, intrusion prevention systems (IPS), and web filtering using Fortinet tools.
  • Perform regular firmware upgrades, patch management, and system backups.
  • Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to enforce security policies and respond to incidents.
  • Maintain documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures.
  • Provide technical support and training to internal teams as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal security policies.

Primary Skills

•    Experience with other security platforms (e.g., Cisco, Palo Alto, Check Point).
•    Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure) and hybrid environments.
•    Scripting knowledge (Python, Bash) for automation tasks.
