This is an internship position for a Scene Concept Artist within the NOVA Training Camp program, requiring a minimum of 3 months of offline internship for graduates after September 2025. Responsibilities include participating in early-stage game art design, developing concept art, architectural planning, and detailed scene elements. The role involves collaborating with 3D artists and R&D teams to ensure the final visual quality of game scenes. Candidates should have a strong art foundation, proficiency in Photoshop and SAI, and good communication and teamwork skills.

  • Good communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive attitude.
  • Excellent learning ability to complete tasks as required.

1. Participate in the early-stage art design of the game, including concept atmosphere maps, architectural planning, individual building design, functional object design and breakdown, etc.;

2. Combine with the worldview settings to package items, follow up on planning requirements, clarify design functions and purposes, and collaborate with 3D artists to complete scene-related detailed designs;

3. Communicate and cooperate with upstream and downstream R&D teams to perfect the final visual effect of the scene in the game.

Job Requirements

1. Art and animation majors preferred;

2. Relevant internship or commercial project experience preferred;

3. Possess a solid art foundation and strong modeling ability;

4. Proficient in common drawing software such as Photoshop, SAI;

5. Passionate about the game industry and able to withstand work pressure and challenges;

6. Good communication skills and teamwork ability, able to strive towards project development goals, with a strong sense of initiative;

7. Possess excellent learning ability and be able to complete work as required.

Portfolio Requirements (upload as an attachment with resume):

  • Design and drawing works. For still images, please submit common image formats (JPG/TIFF/PNG/BMP), do not compress too much to avoid affecting image quality, please do not submit oversized PSD project files with layers.
  • For 3D works, please provide effect screenshots or videos, please do not submit original project files.
  • For animation and sequence frame works, please submit common video formats (MP4/AVI/WMV/MOV), video files can be appropriately compressed for output while ensuring image quality, to avoid oversized files causing inconvenience in transmission.
