Job Description

Veeam, a global leader in data resilience, is seeking a highly skilled Observability Engineer. This role involves working with advanced observability tools to maintain and develop robust infrastructure and pipelines for development teams. Key responsibilities include software management and orchestration using tools like ELK, VictoriaMetrics, PagerDuty, Opentelemetry, and Grafana, as well as system troubleshooting and problem-solving across applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong Linux administration skills, an understanding of observability concepts (tracing, logging, monitoring), scripting and automation abilities, and experience with high availability systems. Proficiency in version control systems (Git) and tools like Terraform and Ansible is expected. Experience with ELK, VictoriaMetrics/Prometheus, PagerDuty, and Opentelemetry is also required, along with strong English communication skills.

We are looking for a highly skilled Observability Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work with advanced observability tools, maintaining and developing robust observability infrastructure and pipelines to support our development teams.

Your tasks will include:

  • Working with observability tools, maintaining and developing observability infrastructure and pipelines for development teams
  • Software management and orchestration (ELK, VictoriaMetrics, PagerDuty, Opentelemetry, Grafana etc)
  • System troubleshooting and problem-solving across applications

What we expect from you:

  • Linux administration skills
  • Understanding observability (tracing, logging, monitoring)
  • Scripting and automation skills
  • Solid understanding and experience working with high availability, high performance, multi-data center systems
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot complex issues ranging from system resources
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git
  • Experience with Terraform, Ansible
  • Experience with ELK, VictoriaMetrics/Prometheus, PagerDuty, Opentelemetry
  • English communication skills (writing and reading)

Will be an advantage:
