This Operations DevOps Engineer II role at CSG involves supporting code deployment, performing product installation and configuration, and managing incidents. Working knowledge of caching concepts, network and infrastructure models

Software development experience on Linux platforms in common scripting languages (Perl, Python, Groovy, Ruby, bash)
Experience with Logstash and Elastic
Familiarity with Kibana, JIRA and Remedy
Proficiency in cloud platform tools such as AWS Cloud Services, Cloudtrail, Lambda, System Manager, Disaster Recovery Solutions

AWS certification is preferred

What you'll do:
Supporting code deployment releases and promotions within test and production environments
Perform product installation and configuration with some troubleshooting assistance from others in Operations
Incident management including the investigation, and triage of various software application and database issues, while collaborating with internal teams to ensure fast turnaround times on issue/incident resolution
Monitor solutions production, customer test and internal environments for function and performance
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.
Maintain monitoring tools and systems to proactively identify and address potential issues.
Install, configure and upgrade third party products and open source solutions
Participate in and contribute at daily stand-up meetings
Execution and validation of deployment installation, configuration, release processes and procedures
Develop and maintain automation tools and processes to streamline operations and improve productivity
Document operational and system architecture process and configuration and identify automation opportunities where applicable
Participating in the Operations 24x7 on-call rotation schedule
When needed, active participation in critical problem resolution outside of typical working hours
An employee may perform duties outside of the listed responsibilities as needed
Minimum Requirements:
