CSG is expanding its teams in Brazil, focusing on delivering new features for its cloud-based digital BSS Ascendon Platform. This role is for a Software Development Manager to lead development teams in a dynamic agile environment. The manager will champion continuous learning, accountability, and team empowerment, ensuring adherence to industry-leading practices for automated testing and continuous integration. The position requires guiding teams to deliver scalable, maintainable, enterprise-grade products with a pragmatic approach to quality and technological excellence.

Must Have:

Lead software development teams, including mentoring and performance management
Develop operational plans aligned with functional strategies and corporate standards
Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Management, QA, and Architecture
Lead delivery execution, address cross-team challenges and resolve dependencies
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
Ensure adherence to coding standards, quality assurance processes, and security policies
Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field or equivalent experience
2+ years of managerial experience in software development
Familiarity with cloud-native development, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices
Basic understanding of AI technologies and their application in software development
Budget management and strategic planning capabilities
Experience with Agile project management, software development lifecycle, and risk management
Experience building and leading engineering teams
Experience working in a global or distributed team environment
Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work in a CLT contract position
Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language in a business environment
