Job Description

The People Engineering Team is looking for an Operations Program Lead to drive the planning, execution, and scaling of key initiatives within the People organization. In this role, you will lead cross-functional teams, manage project lifecycles, and ensure seamless integration of innovative solutions across the organization. You will act as the strategic link between business objectives, research, and engineering execution—ensuring projects deliver impactful, scalable, and ethical outcomes for the People Organization. As a leader, you will also be responsible for identifying emerging opportunities, fostering innovation, and ensuring responsible adoption of new technologies. Your ability to drive collaboration, manage complex initiatives, and deliver measurable impact will be critical.
Must have:
  • Define and implement the roadmap for strategic initiatives, aligning with company goals and technological capabilities
  • Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, product managers, and business partners to drive projects from concept to deployment
  • Oversee project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring smooth implementation and risk mitigation
  • Stay ahead of emerging technologies and drive innovation by exploring new models, techniques, and applications
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, ethical, and aligned with Apple standards, privacy guidelines and legal regulations
  • Establish critical metrics to measure success and continuously refine strategies based on data-driven insights
  • 5+ years of hands on operations experience
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Communications, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, Management, or equivalent majors
  • Experience managing large-scale complex projects in a fast paced environment

  • Strong communications skills and experience in partner management
  • Passion for diving into hard problems and guiding others to build novel solutions
  • Highly collaborative and inclusive engagement style
  • Proven track record of successful delivery of parallel running, fast-paced projects on schedule
  • Ability to operate autonomously across multiple teams in a global matrix organization
  • Understanding of Agile and iterative project approaches. Experience managing Agile projects

Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands on operations experience

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,300 and $263,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
