Optometrists manage ocular diseases, including treating corneal ulcers, uveitis, red eye, and diagnosing conditions like diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, macular disease, retinal holes, and detachments, as well as removing foreign bodies. This role goes beyond prescribing contacts and eyeglasses, focusing on comprehensive eye health.
Must Have:- Doctor of Optometry Degree (OD) from an Accredited School of Optometry
- State Licensed or will be licensed to practice Optometry in the state of practice
