Job Description

• Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle Database software across various environments.
• Optimize database performance through tuning, indexing, and monitoring. Design and implement robust backup and recovery strategies for Oracle databases.
• Implement and manage security measures, including user access controls, encryption, and auditing.
• Apply patches and updates to ensure Oracle databases are up to date and secure.
• Configure and manage high availability solutions, such as Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC).
• Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL and PL/SQL queries for efficient database operations.
• Plan and execute upgrades to newer Oracle Database versions and migrate databases between servers.
• Configure and manage Oracle Data Guard for disaster recovery and data Implement and manage Oracle GoldenGate for real-time data replication.
• Perform efficient database cloning and refreshing for testing and development purposes.
• Monitor and plan for database capacity to accommodate future growth.
• Diagnose and resolve complex database-related issues and incidents.
• Utilize Oracle Enterprise Manager for comprehensive database management.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate database-related updates.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for databases and processes.
