Job Description

As an Order Management Intern, you will be an integral part of a dynamic team coordinating end-to-end order processing for Commercial Partners across North America. Responsibilities include acting as the Voice of the Customer, verifying Purchase Order accuracy, entering order data, and resolving issues. You will also provide order status information to customers and handle administrative tasks. This role offers growth and a chance to make a significant impact in the organization.
Must have:
  • Business fluent English is required.
  • Willingness to work US working hours.
  • Excellent time management is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills are needed.
  • High sensitivity to a multicultural environment.
Good to have:
  • Some relevant work experience in a customer-focused environment is beneficial.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office/Google Workspace is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the SAP operating system is an advantage.

Department Overview

The Supply Chain Center in Krakow is part of Motorola Solutions' (MSI) global network. The department is represented by a dynamic team of almost 300 people. We constantly grow and put a strong focus on development - both organizational and individual.

Within the department structure we dynamically develop world-class Demand & Supply Planning, Order Management, Order Scheduling, Delivery, Logistics, Repair Operations, Customer Master Data Management and Business Operations which makes us the Center of Excellence for MSI globally. Supply Chain is responsible for maximizing the efficiency and productivity of the operations, and plays a crucial role in supporting the sales process through proper forecasting, order management, securing material availability, shipping, and delivery to our customers.

Job Description

Embrace an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of a dynamic team, coordinating end-to-end order processing for our esteemed Commercial Partners across North America. As a crucial member of the Order Management team, you'll be at the heart of our operations, liaising closely with internal stakeholders, as well as Customers. This role not only promises growth and development but also a chance to make a significant impact in our organization.

  • Acting as the Voice of the Customer

  • Customer service + call center

  • Bringing the needs of the customer to the forefront ensuring first contact resolution

  • Verification of Purchase Order accuracy with a thorough understanding of all customer fulfillment requirements

  • Accurate entry of order data into SAP from Salesforce, OCR, EDI, email

  • Processing, following  through and ensuring on time fulfillment of orders

  • Resolving all backlog issues including order hold release, product or item number discrepancies and missing purchase order detail requirements

  • Providing timely order status information to customers

  • Communicating all needs for Customer orders to cross functional team members

  • Maintaining, updating and communicating Customer Record changes in Salesforce and SAP

  • Handling administrative tasks as assigned during the internship


Basic Requirements

  • Business fluent English - required

  • Willingness to work US working hours (2 PM - 10 PM local Krakow time)

  • Some work experience in relevant field and customer focused environment will work in candidate's benefit

  • Good knowledge about MS office/Google Workspace

  • Excellent time management

  • Dynamic, creative and good ability to present and assert oneself

  • Excellent communication skills, self motivated and able to work under pressure

  • High rate of sensitivity of the mentality, business culture and practices in a multicultural environment

  • Knowledge of SAP operating system will work in the candidate's benefit
