Job Description

Reporting to the Europe Export Director, the Inside Sales Representative will primarily be responsible for monitoring and contributing to the commercial development of the entire covered zone, supporting the Area Manager, and achieving sales and margin objectives for the accounts under their direct responsibility. This includes managing orders, payments, operational expenses, analyzing stocks and sales, and ensuring external communication with clients. They will also contribute to sales and margin objectives, account plans, reporting, budgets, and support international events.
Must have:
  • Ensure order tracking (confirmation, availability, shipping) and sales forecast updates.
  • Monitor payments and customer reminders.
  • Track operational expenses within budget limits.
  • Monitor and analyze local stock and sales for key accounts, proposing corrective actions.
  • Ensure external communication with clients (prices, group communication, newsletter).
  • Achieve sales and margin objectives for assigned accounts.
  • Contribute to the development, execution, and routine management of account plans.
  • Organize and lead account reviews for directly managed accounts.
  • Contribute to monthly reports and reporting tools (Flash sales, EYE).
  • Analyze actual and forecasted sales, reporting budget gaps.
  • Participate in annual sales and expense budget creation.
  • Provide necessary support for organizing international meetings, trips, seminars, and events.
  • Contribute to enhancing Vetoquinol's image through professional events and communication.
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Business School.
  • Have 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Proficiency in standard IT tools (Word, advanced Excel functions, PowerPoint).

  • C1 English level desired

Job Description

Reporting to the Europe Export Director, the main mission of the Inside Sales Representative will be to monitor and contribute to the commercial development of the entire covered zone in support of the Area Manager and to ensure the achievement of sales and margin objectives for the accounts under their direct responsibility.

Commercial Management:

  • Ensure order tracking (confirmation, availability, shipping) and updating of sales forecasts in collaboration with clients, customer service, and logistics.
  • Ensure payment tracking and customer reminders in collaboration with financial control.
  • Ensure tracking of operational expenses for the zone's activity (fees, travel, advertising) within allocated budgets.
  • Ensure tracking and analysis of local stock and sales for key accounts and propose necessary corrective actions to said accounts in collaboration with the Area Manager.
  • Ensure external communication with clients necessary for the smooth operation of the activity (prices, group communication, newsletter).

Sales and Margin:

  • Guarantee the achievement of sales and margin objectives for the accounts under their responsibility within Vetoquinol's policies.
  • Share their analysis and recommendations, then propose actions to be implemented to improve market shares and respond to the needs of key accounts and major accounts.
  • Take part in commercial policy decisions for the accounts under their responsibility.
  • Contribute to product registration in the countries of the covered zone.

Account Plans and Reviews:

  • Contribute to the development, execution, and routine management of account plans for the covered zone in coordination with the relevant team (Area Manager, Product Manager, Technical Manager, Regulatory Affairs Manager, Legal Affairs Manager).
  • Organize and lead account reviews for accounts under their direct responsibility.
  • Propose monitoring and operating rules related to account plans and ensure their proper practice.

Reporting and Budgets:

  • Contribute to the production of monthly reports and reporting tools (Flash sales, EYE).
  • Analyze actual and forecasted sales and report any identified budget gaps to the Area Manager.
  • Participate by being proactive (support actions, marketing, travel…) in the achievement of annual sales and expense budgets in collaboration with the Area Manager.
  • Collect available elements for their realization (customer forecasts, rationalization elements, launch projects, customer marketing plans).

Events and Travel:

  • Provide necessary support for the proper organization of meetings, travel, seminars, trade shows, and other international events (organization, agenda, communication, reception, logistics) in collaboration with the Area Manager and/or Product Manager.

Communication:

  • Contribute to enhancing Vetoquinol's image through participation in professional events, by choosing communication means, and protecting the Group's image.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business School.
  • Ideally 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Proficiency in standard IT tools (Word, advanced Excel functions, PowerPoint).
  • C1 English level desired for the target function.

Additional Information

  • Permanent contract position, Executive status, based in Magny-Vernois (70), Paris, or in a country subsidiary.
  • Position eligible for telework up to 2 days/week depending on seniority conditions.
  • Some travel is to be expected.
