Job Description

This role involves building optimal content creation flows through tool and plugin development. Pipeline tool development engineers are responsible for establishing smooth pathways for integrating 3D and 2D assets created by artists into the final product. This includes developing and maintaining environments, creating efficient workflows, and developing in-house support tools, often customizing commercial CG software and implementing original solutions in collaboration with artists.
Good To Have:
  • Experience in tool development for Maya or Houdini.
  • Experience in 3D API development (e.g., OpenGL/DirectX).
  • Basic knowledge of shader development, database, modeling, and lighting.
Must Have:

Pipeline Tool Programmer

Job Description

  • Support artists through tool creation and workflow improvement.
  • Constantly develop and maintain environments appropriate for the situation, and develop workflows for efficiency.
  • Develop in-house support tools.

Pipeline tool development engineers are responsible for building a smooth pipeline for storing 3D and 2D materials created by artists into the final product. They will customize commercial CG software, implement original software, and combine them to develop and maintain optimal production flows in cooperation with artists.

Required Conditions / Experience

  • Programming skills in Python, C++, or C#.
  • Sufficient communication skills.

Desirable Experience / Skills

  • Experience in tool development for Maya or Houdini.
  • Experience in 3D API development such as OpenGL/DirectX.
  • Basic knowledge of shader development / database related / modeling and lighting.

Conditions

  • Employment Type: PDS (Product Development Staff) Employee
  • *PDS (Product Development Staff) Employee* refers to the standard employee type for game creators, which includes a super-flex system, annual salary contract, and special reward system based on sales contribution.
  • Salary: Annual salary system. Employment renewed annually. See Recruitment by Annual Income for details. For the first year from the date of joining, 1/12 of the annual salary set at the time of application will be paid monthly.
  • Allowances: Commuting allowance.
  • Bonus: Incentive pay (royalty system based on sales of 담당 game).
  • Working Hours: Super-flex system (can come to work within standard hours).
  • Holidays/Vacations: Complete two-day weekend system, national holidays, summer vacation, New Year's holidays, paid leave, etc.
