In racing engine development, you will be responsible for implementing systems and user interfaces to realize all racing events adopted in "Gran Turismo," from real-world racing categories (GT, Rally, NASCAR, etc.) to fictional regulations.
For features related to online multiplayer, such as open lobbies and sport mode, you will not only implement them but also propose ideas at the planning level. Therefore, in addition to programming skills, an interest in racing itself and communication skills to smoothly collaborate with other teams as a planner are required.
Furthermore, the racing game programmer is also responsible for implementing features for e-Sport events. They will also create necessary systems, interfaces, and support applications to ensure smooth event progression.
Both the racing engine and game engine determine the game's functionality. Therefore, it's not just about programming; it inevitably involves contributing to the overall quality of the game.
