The role requires a strong understanding of policy administration, data migration experience, and project management skills. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing and mapping existing policy administration and claims processes to ensure effective migration, conducting thorough testing and validation, and maintaining comprehensive documentation. The individual will identify and resolve issues and challenges that arise during the migration process.

  • Experience with third-party cloud-based policy administration systems
  • Experience with large-scale data migration projects

Job Details

The Platform Migration Lead will oversee the migration of Group Benefits in force book of business to our new integrated Policy Administration and Claims platform. The Platform Transformation Migration Lead will be the cornerstone of this initiative, responsible for managing and guiding the entire migration process with the utmost care and precision. The individual will play a crucial role in coordinating with various teams, managing timelines, and addressing any challenges that may arise. The Platform Transformation Migration Lead will ensure that our operations continue seamlessly and that we deliver the best possible service to our customers and brokers. Key responsibilities of the Migration Lead will include planning, execution, and management of the migration process. They will collaborate with key stakeholders to gather requirements, design and enhance migration tools, and ensure successful deployment.


You will

  • Lead the migration strategy completion, delivering the committed scope within the agreed timelines
  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, define scope, and manage expectations
  • Manage the end-to-end migration process, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and compliance
  • Analyze and map existing policy administration and claims processes to ensure they are effectively migrated to the new platform
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of the migrated data and processes to ensure they function as expected
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of the migration process, including plans, procedures, and lessons learned
  • Identify and resolve issues or challenges that arise during the migration process
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on the status and progress of the migration
  • Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and other relevant regulatory requirements


You have

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science or related field preferred or equivalent experience
  • Strong understanding of policy administration and claims systems, data structures, and related business processes
  • Experience with third party cloud-based policy administration and claim systems
  • Experience with large-scale data migration projects, tools, and techniques
  • Project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and resource management
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance standards

Location
This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days in a Guardian office, preferably Bethlehem, PA, Holmdel, NJ, Boston, MA, or New York (Hudson Yards).

Salary Range:

$124,120.00 - $203,905.00

The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
