Job Summary
A Principal Software Engineer at Cadence will be responsible for developing new features according to team requirements and product specifications, maintaining existing functionalities, and profiling and optimizing performance. The role requires a strong understanding of common data structures and algorithms, good knowledge of C/C++ development, and a self-motivated, team-oriented approach to making an impact on technology.
Must Have
- Develop new features according to team requirements and product specifications
- Maintain the functionalities of existing product
- Profile and optimize the performance of different functionalities
- Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Strong understanding of common data structures and algorithms
- Good knowledge and experience on C/C++ development
- Good team work, open mind to team inputs, and highly self-motivated
Good to Have
- Familiar with mesh generation and processing algorithms
- Experience in performance improvements and parallel computing
- Experience in EDA or related application development
