Job Description

The Process Engineering Automation Engineer will define, develop, and tune automation stations, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. This role involves continuous improvement, documentation, and integrating PLCs with MES for traceability, contributing to customer satisfaction and performance enhancement.
Must have:
  • Define Sequential Function Charts (SFCs) for assembly stations used internally or outsourced.
  • Develop, tune and set process automation stations.
  • Familiar with cobots.
  • Assess and make reception of process stations.
  • Respect and ensure respect of IProM.
  • Responsible for stations process development schedule in line with CLEAN.
  • Respect and ensure respect of safety and VPS rules and guidelines during the process development.
  • Ensure coordination between process development and product definition.
  • Improve the TRP of equipments supporting the improvement of the performance.
  • Make Continuous Improvement, working in Cycle Time reduction of automated cells, focusing on bottlenecks.
  • Responsible for all process related documentation.
  • Alert the managers when standards are not met.
  • Secure the automated stations/ equipments (back-ups).
  • Work on connection of PLCs to Manufacturing Execution System, with error codes management & traceability features implementation.
  • Ensure respect of all Quality standards to guarantee customer products and services conformity.
  • Ensure respect of all standards in terms of environment, health and safety risks prevention compliant with the HSE system.
  • Manage applicable sections of the Safety, Quality and Environment Policy of the site.
  • Properly manage activities for Customer satisfaction.
