Job Description

Kaizen Gaming, powering Betano, is a leading GameTech company operating in 19 markets, utilizing cutting-edge technology for millions of customers. They are seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage procurement requirements, acting as a business partner with transformation and hands-on procurement skills. The role involves establishing a best-in-class procurement function to support significant organic growth, transitioning towards a formal procurement process. The specialist will adapt to new ways of working, identify synergies, and drive tangible results across expenditures related to Technology Software, Gaming, and PSP.
Must have:
  • Develop and lead procurement for supplier contracts
  • Manage contract negotiations for price, quality, service
  • Manage sourcing cycle and build supplier relationships
  • Generate savings concepts and strategies
  • Promote innovation and best practices
  • Establish stakeholder relationships (tech, finance, etc.)
  • Evaluate processes and lead improvements
  • 3-6 years in procurement (Tech/FinTech/Telecoms)
  • University Degree in Business, Engineering, Science, Finance
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience leading change and process improvements
  • Excellent English and Spanish communication skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Understanding of decision impact and stakeholder engagement
  • Capable in a cost-focused environment
Good to have:
  • Experience in CIPS
  • Industry experience in B2C Gaming Operators

Let's start with the role

The role has responsibility and accountability for Kaizen’s procurement requirements. The candidate should be an effective business partner with a background in transformation and hands-on procurement skills in order to assist in establishing the procurement function to a best-in-class level.

The business is experiencing significant organic growth, creating an expanded opportunity to transition towards a formal procurement function. It’s imperative to adapt to new ways of working, identify synergies between business processes and look for new opportunities that deliver tangible results. Your remit will cover a wide portfolio, including expenditures related to Technology Software, Gaming and PSP.

As a Procurement Specialist, you will:
  • Develop and lead the procurement process for all supplier contracts within specific categories; 
  • Identify and manage contract negotiations, ensuring price, quality and service targets exceed business expectations;
  • Manage the sourcing cycle and build strong relationships with suppliers (high volume of tendering and multiple stakeholders to engage with);
  • Generate savings concepts and define robust and appropriate savings strategies;
  • Promote innovation, bring in breakthrough ideas and best-in-class approaches;
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including technology, gaming office management, trading, finance, etc;
  • Evaluate processes critically and lead improvement initiatives where appropriate.

What you will bring:

  • 3-6 years experience in procurement within a Technology / Fin Tech / Telecoms / Fast-paced industry organization;
  • University Degree in Business, Engineering, Science, Finance, or other relevant discipline;
  • Experience in CIPS would be a plus;
  • Industry experience in B2C Gaming Operators will be considered a plus;
  • Strong leadership qualities and exceptional stakeholder engagement, interpersonal and relationship-building skills;
  • Building and managing strong relationships both internally and with external organizations;
  • Experience in leading change, including identifying improvements in processes and systems and challenging the status quo;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish;
  • Ability to cope under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
  • Understanding the broader impact of decisions and ensuring all stakeholders are appropriately engaged;
  • Capable of performing effectively in a cost-focused environment.
