Job Details
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing, hardware design, operations, or manufacturing testing.
- Experience working with Original Device Manufacturers (ODMs), Contract Manufacturers (CM) and suppliers to lead root cause analysis, corrective actions and process improvements.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Materials, or a related engineering field.
- 10 years of experience at a company developing supply chains in manufacturing and testing.
- Experience working with component suppliers for data center servers.
- Knowledge of SQL queries and scripting in Python or Bash.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $115,000-$166,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Provide on-site support for production and pre-production builds at Contract Manufacturer/Original Design Manufacturer including driving factory readiness, supporting product bring-up and sustainment, providing training, and gathering feedback on Design for Excellence (DFX) and quality issues.
- Drive engineering validation and coordinating with test engineering to establish test coverage requirements for manufacturing processes.
- Work with Data Center Operations teams and Contract Manufacturer/Original Design Manufacturers to monitor, analyze and perform Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) on field failures.
- Manage the customer-facing for production and remanufacturing product issues, initiate investigation of issues, root cause product failures, and drive corrective action.
- Drive qualification and roll out product changes across Google's manufacturing sites globally and accountable for sustaining product debug process.
