Rockstar Games is seeking a Product Manager to help define the future of the Cfx.re creator platforms, including FiveM and RedM. As a member of our team, you will need a critical and creative eye capable of putting forth innovative solutions to complex problems. Working with a wide variety of technical and non-technical stakeholders, you will be tasked with cultivating and executing on a vision for the platforms.   

This is a full-time, permanent and in-office position based in Rockstar’s unique game development studio in the heart of Leeds, England. 

WHAT WE DO

  • We deliver a technology platform that enables players to experience community created content on fully customized dedicated servers where creators can develop their own game modes and other modifications in a variety of scripting languages.
  • We create technology, tools, and solutions to enhance the creator experience and empower our community to create and share any experience imaginable.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive Key Initiatives: Take ownership of specific products, leading the process from initial research and concept development through to successful implementation with the engineering team.
  • Champion User Needs: Become a passionate advocate for both players and creators, identifying opportunities to enhance their experience with FiveM.
  • Partner with Design: Collaborate effectively with UX/UI Design, translating ideas into visually appealing and user-friendly prototypes that can be developed into final features.
  • Define Clear Requirements: Craft detailed product requirement documents (PRDs) that clearly outline feature specifications and work closely with engineers to ensure smooth implementation.
  • Influence Product Roadmaps: Actively contribute to the development of your product roadmap, clearly articulating your recommendations and gaining stakeholder consensus.
  • Embrace Data-Driven Decisions: Utilise both quantitative and qualitative data to analyse the impact of product changes and iterate to improve key metrics.
  • Experiment and Learn: Adopt an experimentation-focused mindset, running A/B tests to quickly validate hypotheses and make data-backed decisions. 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4+ years of product management experience with technology platforms.   

SKILLS

  • Strong desire for improving user experiences.  
  • Experience working on technical projects through inception, design, and implementation.   
  • Preference towards working iteratively and responding to changing requirements and evolving stakeholder visions.   
  • Knack for influencing stakeholders across a variety of groups – including publishing, design, technical leadership, and external development partners – without explicit authority.   
  • Knowledge of agile software development processes and various prioritization frameworks.

PLUSES

  • Passion for gaming and modding communities.  
  • Prior experience working with cross functional partners across Engineering, UX, Research and Analytics.
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner or similar product-focused certification.   
  • You possess a technical background, such as a computer science degree, have worked as a developer or have previously worked on technical products as a Product Manager.
  • Experience of running A/B tests and other types of experimentation to validate or invalidate your hypothesis.
