This role involves defining and leading new initiatives within the Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) platform, focusing on accessibility and community. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, Marketing, Engineering, Data, Analytics, Legal, and more to develop innovative and engaging experiences for members. Key responsibilities include strategizing based on member insights and market analysis, executing the product lifecycle from ideation to launch, and fostering collaboration across teams to build scalable and intuitive web and mobile products. The role requires a deep understanding of the sports/gaming industry and a passion for building user-centric products.
Must have:
  • 3+ years of product management experience

PrizePicks is looking to hire a Product Manager for our Free-to-Play team, working closely with our Free-to-Play team and leaders across PrizePicks to define and take ownership of one or more net new initiatives, building on the accessibility and community focus that are at the core of what makes PrizePicks great. You’ll develop deep knowledge of our current and potential members, and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to explore, iterate, and build the future you strongly believe in.

You’ll partner cross-functionally with Product, Design, Marketing, Engineering, Data Platform, Analytics, Consumer Insights, UX Research, Legal, and more to build innovative, exciting experiences our fans will love and want to share with others. 

What you’ll do:

  • Strategize: 
    • Become an expert on the PrizePicks product and deeply understand our members
    • Identify opportunities to innovate around new new fan experiences, ensuring a best in class user experience by synthesizing customer pain points, user research, analysis, and stakeholder feedbac
  • Execute:
    • Support and drive the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and ongoing optimization.
    • Build a member-centric, data-informed roadmap for the product area you’re working with
    • Ensure all experiences are flexible, scalable, and intuitive across web and app
  • Collaborate:
    • Collaborate with more senior product managers, engineers, designers, and data scientists to define, build, and iterate on best-in-class products and user-facing features
    • Work with other primary stakeholders (like our UX, Creative, and Marketing teams) to extend our line of free to play products
  • Learn:
    • Deeply understand the Free-to-Play and DFS landscape, particularly new game modes, promotions, and user requests
    • Champion a data-driven approach to product decision-making
    • Become an expert on how competitors are engaging users with free-to-play gaming.
  • Grow:
    • Our team is growing rapidly. We want you to want to grow with it.

What you have:

  • 3+ years of experience in product management or related disciplines
  • A proven track record of building products customers love
  • Proven success in thinking from MVP through future iterations
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills, clearly defining use cases
  • Strong ability to synthesize cross-functional input (legal, CX, eng, design)
  • Experience building products across web and mobile apps (Apple and Android app stores).
  • Self-driven with a sense of urgency and a knack for tackling unexpected problems.
  • A constant desire to learn.

  • Prior experience in the sports/gaming industry and/or a power user of the industry’s products.
  • Have deep knowledge of and passion for the next-gen fan sports experience, including deep understanding of how sports, content, and social media intersect

Where you’ll live:

  • This is a hybrid position based at our PrizePicks headquarters in West Midtown Atlanta, with in-office work a minimum of 3 days per week. #LI-Hybrid
