The Information Systems team at ByteDance is seeking a Product Manager for Workplace Service. This role involves building and enhancing internal enterprise platforms for critical functions like HR, finance, and procurement. Responsibilities include strategic planning, solution design, implementation, security, configuration, and continuous optimization.   • Oversee product operations including user training, documentation, and analytics.
  • Monitor feedback and user behavior to continuously enhance product usability.

Responsibilities

About the team: The Information Systems team is dedicated to building and enhancing the company’s internal enterprise platforms, supporting critical functions such as human resources, workplace services, finance, legal affairs, procurement, approval workflows, and more. We are responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of these systems — from strategic planning and solution design to implementation, security, configuration, and continuous optimization. Our mission is to deliver secure, efficient, and user-friendly B2B products that empower internal teams, improve operational efficiency, and enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.

  • Product Strategy & Roadmap – Plan and execute product roadmaps for B2B enterprise solutions based on user needs, industry trends, and business priorities. Guide product direction through business insights and competitive analysis.
  • Problem-Solving & Analysis – Identify and diagnose business challenges, uncover user pain points, and define priorities. Conduct market and competitor research to inform decision-making and drive innovation.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with Technology, QA, Operations, and other stakeholders to align on goals, ensure timely delivery, and meet product performance and business KPIs.
  • Product Operations & Optimization – Oversee product operations including user training, documentation, and analytics. Monitor feedback and user behavior to continuously enhance product usability, adoption, and satisfaction.
  • Quality & Security – Ensure that products are secure, compliant, and meet the highest usability standards, supporting seamless integration across internal systems.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above, with 3+ years of experience in internet products, SaaS platforms, or enterprise management software.
  • Proven ability to go beyond requirement gathering — proactively planning product development with a forward-looking, industry-aware mindset.
  • Strong experience in product requirement analysis and product design, with the ability to provide direction for sub-products or related modules.
  • Familiarity with internet product development lifecycles and best practices, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams to ensure smooth launches.
