Job Description

As a Product Owner, you will manage the full product lifecycle, delivering user-centric software solutions. This involves collaborating with product managers, UX designers, engineering, and DevOps teams to create user stories with clear acceptance criteria, ensuring alignment with business and customer needs. You will act as the voice of the customer, communicating product vision, scope, and technical requirements, including cloud and SaaS considerations, to development teams. Additionally, you will conduct customer research, gather feedback, and support marketing material creation, leveraging agile processes and cloud infrastructure knowledge to drive release goals.
Must have:

  • Ensure development and DevOps teams understand product vision, scope, and technical details for on-prem, SaaS, and cloud deployments.
  • Advocate for customer needs internally.
  • Participate in agile processes, mitigating impediments to sprint/release goals.
  • Support customer research, feedback collection, and marketing material creation.
  • Act as a product expert among stakeholders and support customer interactions for validation and defect resolution.
  • Maintain competitive data for organizational reference.

Job Details

As the Product Owner, you will manage the full product lifecycle, delivering user-centric software solutions. You will collaborate with product managers, UX designers, engineering, and DevOps teams to create user stories with clear acceptance criteria, ensuring alignment with business and customer needs. Acting as the voice of the customer, you will communicate product vision, scope, and technical requirements, including cloud and SaaS considerations, to development teams. You will conduct customer research, gather feedback, and support marketing material creation.

In agile processes, you will leverage CI/CD pipeline and cloud infrastructure knowledge (AWS, Azure, GCP, EKS, AKS, or Carpenter) to remove impediments and drive release goals. You will manage the product release funnel, ensuring quality and functional objectives are met, and act as a product ambassador across stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Create user stories with clear acceptance criteria, collaborating with product managers, marketing, engineering, and DevOps.
  • Develop roadmaps and maintain a prioritized backlog, incorporating CI/CD and cloud deployment needs.
  • Ensure development and DevOps teams understand product vision, scope, and technical details for on-prem, SaaS, and cloud deployments.
  • Advocate for customer needs internally.
  • Participate in agile processes, mitigating impediments to sprint/release goals.
  • Support customer research, feedback collection, and marketing material creation.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong technical background in developing and deploying on-prem and SaaS products, with cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration (EKS, AKS, Carpenter), and product development architecture.
  • Expertise in Scrum and Agile methodologies, with DevOps collaboration experience.
  • Strong time-management, prioritization, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English for technical and product-related discussions.
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization, influencing UX design, development, and DevOps teams.
  • Understanding of design quality standards and SaaS architecture, business models, and implementation challenges.
