REALTIME is seeking an ambitious and driven Production Assistant for an exciting Animation-focused production, with a busy slate for 2025. This role involves administrative support and production tasks for Games cinematics, potentially extending to other studio projects in Games, Episodic, and Film. Reporting to the Head of Production for Games and Project Production Manager, you will support a team including a Senior Production Coordinator and Animation Leads, ensuring clear communication and efficient project delivery.
Must have:
  • Report into the Head of Production and Production Manager
  • Support the Production Manager and the production team with administrative tasks
  • Note taking in dailies, morning production meetings, internal/client meetings and review sessions
  • Work alongside the Production Manager and Senior Production Coordinator to track assets and shots and manage the workflow through the department using Shotgrid/Flow and Excel
  • Ensure Shotgrid/Flow projects status and task assignments are kept up to date if required
  • Assist the Production team in organising dailies, rounds and project meetings as required
  • Make sure artists have all the correct elements, assets and briefing notes to work on shots
  • If required, collate updates from artists on shot progress and track against deadlines for client milestones and reviews, identifying and communicating possible delays with the Production Coordinator and Production Manager
  • Support with review playlists, delivery preparation and client submissions
  • Distribute client feedback across relevant platforms
  • Support with updating any key project information on the project wiki or relevant databases

REALTIME are on the lookout for a superstar Production Assistant to join one of our most exciting Animation focused productions. We have a busy slate for the rest of 2025 and are looking for a driven individual who is ready to take on the next big thing!

The position will include administrative support, engaging in production tasks for the team across our largest animation focused Production in Games cinematics and potential to support across a number of other really exciting projects across the studio in Games, Episodic and Film. Reporting to the Head of Production for Games and the Project Production Manager you will be supporting a crew of a Senior Production Coordinator, Production Manager, and Animation Leads & Supervisors.

You will need to maintain clear concise communication within the Production and Animation team and work alongside them to help build on client relationships. You will be pivotal in keeping the project moving efficiently through to final delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Report into the Head of Production and Production Manager
  • Support the Production Manager and the production team in general with administrative tasks; such as calendar management and ownership, keeping Teams channels organised and maintained, supporting the Senior Production Coordinator with Shotgrid/Flow ad-hoc updates and clean up, keeping any documents up to date as needed. Preparing paperwork for new crew joining the company, Freelancers and core staff.
  • Note taking in dailies, morning production meetings, internal/client meetings and review sessions.
  • Work alongside the Production Manager and Senior Production Coordinator to track assets and shots and manage the workflow through the department using Shotgrid/Flow and Excel.
  • Ensuring Shotgrid/Flow projects status and task assignments are kept up to date if required.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Good understanding of Animation or VFX processes, terminology, disciplines and/or experience of working in Games or Animation.
  • Basic understanding of Shotgrid/Flow.
  • A self-starter who is eager to learn.
  • Is pro-active and therefore quick to jump onto any required or basic tasks without the need for direction or instruction.
  • Ability to listen well and comprehend what is going on around them
  • Works well under pressure
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Outstanding communication is essential (written and verbal)
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Word and Excel
