We’re seeking a Senior Production Leader to oversee and drive operations at a high-output facility on the East coast producing over 1 million pounds of baked goods weekly in a ~250,000 sq. ft facility—including buns, rolls, sliced bread, and English muffins. - Relocation provided

Job Description

In this critical role, you’ll lead daily production and sanitation efforts across a multi shift / multi line facility, you will ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and own plant performance metrics from top to bottom. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally while mentoring teams and fostering a culture of accountability, quality, and continuous improvement.

You will lead with purpose in this high-impact role that drives profitability, ensures product excellence, and empowers a culture of safety and collaboration. As the leader of all production and sanitation operations, you’ll be responsible for delivering on manufacturing P&L goals while maintaining strict adherence to product quality, food safety, and regulatory compliance. This role requires close coordination with cross-functional teams and hands-on oversight of processes that influence product safety, legality, and overall operational performance.

Bread production experience is essential—this facility produces over 1 million pounds of baked goods weekly, including buns, rolls, sliced bread, and English muffins.

Qualifications

What You Bring:

  • 7+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing, preferably food or baking
  • Bread production experience required (buns, rolls, sliced bread, English muffins, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume output (1M+ lbs/week)
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards, quality control, and regulatory frameworks
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Bonus: AIB Master Baker certification and/or formal management training
