Job Description

As a Production Planner at Aptiv, you will join a global, diverse, and collaborative team focused on advanced safety systems, high-performance electrification solutions, and data connectivity solutions. Your role involves analyzing customer programs, coordinating with the Scheduling Coordinator, and optimizing production orders to meet deadlines and quality standards. You will monitor supplier anomalies, manage delivery situations, and ensure compliance with various operational standards, contributing to a safer, greener, and more connected future of mobility.
Must have:
  • Monitor any anomalies from the supplier
  • Prepare and share the Delivery situation with the Staff
  • Consult the production on the feasibility of planning
  • Receive and analyze the planning that comes from the client
  • Contact the client's planner to check for any changes in planning
  • Inform production and engineering in the event of a change of references or levels
  • Analyze in the short and medium term the production capacity in relation to the client's programs
  • Issue manufacturing orders and monitor their accomplishments
  • Coordinate and forward changes to the remains of the departments concerned
  • Attend coordination meetings between departments for a better knowledge of the production situation
  • Prepare and share the "Capacity Study" report with the Staff
  • Ensure compliance with procedures, health and safety
  • Ensure compliance with environmental standards
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Engineering degree or Master degree in Logistics or equivalent
  • Advanced English is mandatory
  • Knowledge of logistics process
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving and analytical skills are required
  • Advanced computer skills

Your Role

As a Production Planner you will be part of a global, diverse and collaborative team and contributing on high sophisticated compute and sensing products driving to a safer, greener and more connected future of mobility.

In this role you will play a key role in Aptiv, you will Analyze the customer's programs in consultation with the Scheduling Coordinator in order to carry out the programming of production orders under optimal conditions of deadlines, while ensuring the required quality and service as well as these various accountabilities:

  • Monitor any anomalies from the supplier
  • Prepare and share the Delivery situation with the Staff.
  • Consult the production on the feasibility of planning.

Your Background

  • Engineering degree or Master degree in Logistics or equivalent.
