Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results driven Production Supervisor to join our Building and Finishing Riverside Team. This position contributes to the manufacturing process of Stucco, EIFS, Grouts, and other products. The supervisor will develop and deploy performance objectives, manage manufacturing staff, and maintain workflow. Key responsibilities include completing production plans, ensuring quality service, and maintaining a safe work environment. The role also involves resolving personnel issues, preparing evaluations, and overseeing plant and equipment maintenance. Compliance with environmental, safety, and company policies is essential for this role.
Must have:
  • Develop and deploy performance objectives and KPIs for subordinates.
  • Manage manufacturing staff, including coaching, counseling, and discipline.
  • Maintain staff by selecting, orienting, and training employees.
  • Monitor and maintain workflow, equipment, and resources.
  • Complete production plans, schedule personnel, and resolve problems.
  • Ensure quality service and equipment operation.
  • Provide production information through data analysis and reporting.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Resolve personnel problems and coordinate with HR.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge.
  • Prepare performance evaluations and recommend pay changes.
  • Supervise and participate in plant, equipment, and facility repairs.
  • Provide direction for machinery and equipment maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and company policies.

Pay Range: $84,500 - $92,500

We are seeking a dynamic and results driven Production Supervisor to join our Building and Finishing Riverside Team. This position contributes to the manufacturing process of Stucco, EIFS, Grouts, and other products.

  • With the assistance of the Plant Manager, develops and deploys performance objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for subordinate personnel; Accomplishes manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures; maintains staff by selecting, orienting, and training employees; developing personal growth opportunities; maintains work flow by monitoring steps of the process; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.
  • Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries; maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards; ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques; Provides production information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing performance records and data; answering questions and responding to requests.
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources, maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Resolves personnel problems by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions; and coordinating with human resources on recommended actions.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
  • Prepares performance evaluations and recommends pay rate changes, promotions and transfers of subordinate personnel to Plant Manager.
  • Supervises and participates in projects and repairs to the plant, equipment and facilities and grounds in general;
  • Provides direction and assistance in corrective, preventive and predictive repairs and maintenance of machinery and equipment;
  • Ensures that environmental, safety and other types of rules and regulations, along with the adherence to company policies and procedures are observed throughout the facility.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience will be considered. Detail oriented professional.
  • Highly organized. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
